IAP-NV Candidate for Secretary of State

Restoring Trust in Nevada Elections Through Fairness, Security, and Transparency

Divisive partisan politics has infected the Democrat and Republican parties in Nevada for nearly a generation. It is time for a fresh approach and a consensus government where people work together to ensure the future of our citizens. People who yell at each other can’t hear what the other person is saying. It’s time for civil debate on issues that affect Nevadans—starting with elections we can all trust. As Secretary of State, I will prioritize practical reforms that protect every eligible vote while making the process more reliable and accessible for all Nevadans, regardless of background or party.

  • Implement Voter ID Smoothly and Inclusively When — Not If — Question 7 Passes in 2026: Nevadans spoke clearly in 2024 by overwhelmingly supporting photo ID requirements, and Question 7 returns this November for final approval to amend our Constitution. If affirmed twice by the people, I will lead a bipartisan, transparent rollout—providing free or low-cost ID assistance, statewide education campaigns, and accommodations for rural voters, seniors, students, and those facing barriers—so secure elections strengthen confidence without disenfranchising anyone.
  • Advance Modern Voting Technology Upgrades, Including ORION and Statewide Systems — Nevada is modernizing election tools, with shifts to verifiable paper ballots, enhanced cybersecurity, and centralized systems like VREMS for better accuracy and oversight. I will ensure these upgrades (including ORION-related election management improvements) reach every county equitably, with rigorous testing, cross-party review, and clear voter guidance—so results are auditable, errors are minimized, and Nevadans from Las Vegas to Ely know their vote counts accurately every time.
  • Strengthen Voter Registration Integrity with Balanced Safeguards and Outreach — Clean, current voter rolls build trust without suppressing participation. I will promote data-driven maintenance to prevent duplicates or errors, support easy online/mobile updates, improve signature verification and curing processes, and expand registration drives in underserved communities—all with full public transparency and quarterly reporting—so every eligible Nevadan can register effortlessly while we protect the system from abuse.
