This can lead to questions about impartiality, slower progress on real reforms like Voter ID implementation, and systems that feel more geared toward insiders than everyday Nevadans trying to vote, start a business, or hold government accountable.

- My Background and Vision: With 35 years as a computer systems analyst and 20 years as a Nevada litigation paralegal (handling complex legal documents and statutory frameworks), I solve problems for a living. I have already developed practical concepts for implementing Voter ID fairly and efficiently. My vision is clear: transparent elections where every lawful vote counts and is verifiable; user-friendly business services (especially as Nevada moves to Project Orion); and an office focused on accountability to all citizens, not party directives. As an Independent aligned with the Independent American Party, I answer to Nevada families—not Sacramento-style politics or Washington insiders.
- Democratic Candidate Cisco Aguilar (Incumbent): A lawyer with experience in sports management, education foundations, and higher education counsel. He has focused on modernization and access. Experienced in elections administration, but has repeatedly stated Voter ID is unnecessary. While he says he will follow the voters’ decision, his personal view signals potential reluctance in driving strong, proactive implementation.
- Republican Nominee Jim Marchant: A former Assembly member with a strong emphasis on election integrity. While we share some goals in this area, his partisan affiliation and past campaigns tie him to one side of the aisle, potentially limiting broad appeal and independent oversight for all Nevadans.
- The Libertarian candidate brings another perspective, but lacks the depth of hands-on systems and legal experience needed for this complex role.
The clear difference: I offer proven problem-solving skills, independence from party control, and ready-to-go plans tailored to Nevada’s needs—delivering results for all voters, regardless of affiliation.
