Who Will Protect Your Vote?

Restoring Trust in Nevada Elections Through Fairness, Security, and Transparency

Divisive partisan politics has infected the Democrat and Republican parties in Nevada for nearly a generation. It is time for a fresh approach and a consensus government where people work together to ensure the future of our citizens. People who yell at each other can’t hear what the other person is saying. It’s time for civil debate on issues that affect Nevadans—starting with elections we can all trust. As Secretary of State, I will prioritize practical reforms that protect every eligible vote while making the process more reliable and accessible for all Nevadans, regardless of background or party. That's my promise: Results, Not Noise. I'm Brad Lee Barnhill — Your Independent Voice.

  • Implement Voter ID Fairly When Nevadans Vote to Confirm It This November — Nevadans already spoke once in 2024, approving photo ID by nearly 73%. Question 7 returns this November for the constitutional confirmation vote. If affirmed, I will lead a transparent, bipartisan rollout — free or low-cost ID assistance, statewide education, and real accommodations for rural voters, seniors, students, and anyone facing a barrier — so secure elections build confidence without costing anyone their vote.
  • Modernize Election Infrastructure Nevadans Can Verify — Every county should run on verifiable paper records, strong cybersecurity, accurate registration data, and consistent administration. I will support carefully tested upgrades, bipartisan review, and transparent audits, so a voter in Ely has the same confidence in their ballot as a voter in Las Vegas.
  • Clean Voter Rolls — Because I Already Sued to Prove It Matters — Talk is cheap. When the Secretary of State's office closed my sworn complaint about 12,465 apparent duplicate Clark County registrations without auditing a single one, I filed suit in federal court. As Secretary of State, I'll build the data-driven, flag-and-investigate maintenance program Nevada should already have — with full public transparency and quarterly reporting — so every eligible voter stays on the rolls and no one's registration goes unchecked.
